Step 4:
We now need to identify the client’s medical team. The person who will actually administer the injection, the patient- consult support staff, etc. In some cases, the group may need a nurse practitioner to add to the team. If this is the case, at no charge, we will present candidates for the client to select and to interview.
Although our corporate office does supply personnel, this option is considered a last resort. A nurse practitioner will be flown in for the day when and if required. We recommend that this is not the best option for our clients. What we look for is more than a person who will provide injections, we take the time to search and present candidates who (a) are local to the city/county to which they will be working, (b) are outgoing type of people who are willing and capable to speak in public, (c) are personable, able to engage with patients (d) are willing to be a team player, will engage and attend events along with the client to increase patient flow and promote, and finally, (e) are able to effectively, efficiently and professionally carry on the duties of the position. It is highly important to us that the candidate who is selected carries a strong ethical principle and fits the culture of the establishment and the team he/ she will be working with.
Once RBS has identified a potential candidate, this person is screened by our corporate medical department and given the green light before he/she is presented to the client for an official interview.
Once we have identified the ideal candidate, off to training he/ she will go unless he/she has previously been trained through our Corporate office. A refresher may be considered if the client and Nurse Practitioner (NP) deems so.
Anyone who will be injecting who is already part of the everyday team of the establishment will be required to have a light screening process with the corporate medical department to ensure compliance and abilities before attending training in Indiana.
Our corporate office handles all paperwork, payroll, insurance procedures etc, relieving the business owner of these extra responsibilities.
Special note:
Some States offer their NPs autonomy while others will require that an NP work with a Medical Doctor for the purpose of medical oversite. The collaborative agreement and State licensed physician is provided in order to relieve the client from this responsibility.
